Some conditions we treat

Ingrown toe nail
Ingrown Nails

Ingrown Nails – This is a relatively simple office procedure. On occasion, antibiotics may be required prior to the procedure or after. Make sure you go to someone who specializes in treating them on a daily basis.

Heelspur
heel spur
Heel Spur Syndrome / Plantar Fasciitis – Does it look like you are 100 years old stepping out of bed in the morning or after standing up after lunch? Are you miserable after being active all day? We treat these conditions on a regular basis and can usually resolve them 90% of the time without surgery.
Morton's Neuroma
Morton’s Neuroma – A swollen nerve deep in the ball of the foot can make you miserable. Just like any other foot pathology, we will attempt conservative treatment prior to a surgical option.

Inserts warning

Shoe Inserts

It’s always sad when someone comes to us with a bag of shoe inserts that a ‘Foot Store’ machine told them they needed. People think they are going to save time and money by treating themselves, but in the end, it usually doesn’t work out. I would highly recommend a consult with a Foot Specialist prior to sticking anything in your shoes.

Urban Legends

I’m sure your parents, grandparents, well meaning friend or even family doctor meant well when they told you some of the following stories but unfortunately they are not true. Cutting your nail straight across or notching a V in the end does absolutely nothing in contributing to how a nail grows or fixing an ingrown nail. Wearing bad shoes as a kid, high heels, running barefoot or playing a lot of sports like “high school football” did not contribute to most of the bony foot deformities you have now and later in life. These are simply due to genetics, biomechanics, time and mileage.
