We are specialist in the medical and surgical management of the foot. Some treatments can be performed on you initial visit while other more involved treatments including various surgical procedures, will be scheduled at your convenience. Dr. Nuss is a board certified Podiatrist and performs traditional, minimal incision and endoscopic surgical procedures. Dr. Nuss is on the medical staff at Hendersonville Medical Center and North Ridge Surgery Center.

Our practice offers the most professional, competent and time-cost effective podiatric care possible. Our entire staff will make every attempt to follow " the golden rule" at all times and treat our patients in the same manner as we would wish despite age, gender, race or economic status. Every attempt at conservative treatment will be performed and explained prior to recommending surgical intervention.

Many people who visit our office have never visited a Podiatrist before. We treat disorders and diseases of the skin, nails, bones and joints of the feet. In order to provide your with the highest quality foot care, we will ask you to fill out a comprehensive information sheet about you medical history and medications. Questions about diabetes, high blood pressure, heart conditions, arthritis, etc., are pertinent and may have relevance to how your condition is treated or what medication are given.

More about Dr. Nuss

Dr. H. H. Nuss opened the Hendersonville Foot Clinic in 1987. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University, he then completed his medical training at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, which is affiliated with and part of the prestigious Cleveland Clinic and Case Western community in Cleveland, Ohio. A surgical fellowship in Columbus, Ohio followed with emphasis on reconstructive forefoot, midfoot and rearfoot surgery. Further experience and clinical expertise were gained at Ohio State University's Outpatient Hospital.

Dr. Nuss is board certified by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery. He had served as past president of the Middle Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association . He has served as a consultant for the State of Tennessee Medical board and is also active in sports medicine acquiring several professional athletes and celebrities as patients. As a docent at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, Dr. Nuss leads tours of the most current artistic and cultural events in the area and is a Health and Fitness enthusiast. Dr. Nuss is the medical commentator for AM 1120 radio out of Destin, Florida.
